The RETLAMI-SEE team actively participated in the 15th European Social Science History Conference (ESSHC), held from March 26 to 29, 2025, in Leiden, Netherlands.
As part of the conference program, project partners organized a panel titled:
“Labour Migration and Societal Transformations in Southeast Europe: From Micro-Perspectives to a Transnational Angle”.
The panel featured presentations from researchers affiliated with UNIBL, ZRC SAZU, UNIVIE, and IOS, who shared insights from their ongoing research with an international academic audience. The panel was chaired by Prof. Attila Melegh (Institute of Social and Political Sciences, Corvinus University), while Prof. Ulf Brunnbauer (IOS Regensburg) served as the discussant.
The ESSHC gathered over 1,000 scholars across 27 thematic networks, all dedicated to exploring historical phenomena through social science methodologies.
In parallel with the conference, the RETLAMI-SEE team held a project meeting on March 26, 2025. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to review the progress of project activities and to discuss and agree on the research design for the exploratory research component of Work Package 4 (WP4).
