The Enhancing Capacities for Quality and Impactful Research on Transformations, Labour, and Migration in Southeast Europe (RETLAMI-SEE) project, coordinated by the Faculty of Political Science, University of Banja Luka (FPN UNIBL) and funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe program, is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and other applicable data protection laws.

The RETLAMI-SEE website (retlami-see.fpn.unibl.org/eng) only provides links or QR codes to these external platforms and does not directly process or store user data.

 

5. Purpose of Data Processing

We collect and process personal data solely for the following purposes:

  • Event Registration and Participation: To facilitate participation in workshops, conferences, and other project-related events.
  • Communication: To send event-related information, confirmations, and updates.
  • Reporting and Project Impact Assessment: As required by funding institutions (e.g., European Commission) to demonstrate engagement and outreach.

  • Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the stated purposes.
  • Data collected for event participation may be retained for reporting purposes up to two years after project completion, in line with Horizon Europe’s funding requirements.
  • After the retention period, personal data will be securely deleted.
